    At the age of 11 Russell knew how to pick up the camera and take a pictutre.So his father put him to work on the constructions sites taking progression photos.

Russell Thacker was craving the entertainment industry and desired of the entertainment industry in Highschool. His mother suggested that he become a photographer because that was his desire. He always had the camera in his hand.

In 1994 Russell was approched by Director Ray Culpepper to assist him in the direction and casting for the movie "The Naked Truth and Big Ant Bad". At that point the big BREAK was made. Russell went on to become Lisa "Left EYE" Lopez 's Personal Photograph. 

Today Russell one of the most requested photographer in the nation (even by Tara Banks). However Russell and his team are affordable in every aspact. Russell Thacker is not only a gifted photographer, but a casting director for many movies, music videos, and independent films. Individually loves to help talented people break into the biz. “I’ve been doing this for over 20 years and love the reaction that people give looking at my work. I’ve always been 100% committed to GOD, my family, and business.

In 1994 Russell casted and work on his first film The Naked Truth. Russell worked behind the scenes on the set as the Still Photographer also casted for all the extras in the film. In 1996 Russell casted supporting rolls and lead rolls for the movies.
