Master Photographer Russell E. Thacker has over 20 years’ experience in the field of photography. Growing up in Atlanta and studding the art of photography was a love that he had at an early age. His first camera was a Polaroid instant camera gifted from his father. A secondary camera also gifted by his dad was a Minolta. As a gadgit professional Russell grew to love the brand of Nikon and has kept the same brand for over 20 years. In 1991 he started Nu Hype Productions his first company with a highschool friend and still has it to date. He has been labeled the photographer of the Stars.
MP Russell E. Thacker opened his first 1500sq ft. studio in 2004 in Marietta GA and grew to a successful wedding photographer in a short year. In 2007 He then expanded his brand to a 8000 sq ft. studio in downtown Atlanta,this housed a wedding event center as well as reception hall and photo studio. Due to the love of his new bride and family Russell left Atlanta with his wife to Spartanburg SC to help take care of his favorite sister in law who acquired breast cancer. Now he are back on the map in Greenville/Spartanburg area and ready for you.
The discovery of Upstate Events & More was made through Russell & Jervonne Thacker. Jervonne is the creative side and Russell is the technical side. The couple is the force behind Upstate Events & More. The quest for success began in 2010. Throughout the bumps in the road they have created their on path of hard work, inspiration and dedication to their business. They have donated a lot of their time to making the right business just for you.
